Job Description

The Assistant Resident Manager’s role is to assist the Residence Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the residence. The actual duties delegated will be decided between the Residence Manager and the Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager shall act as Manager in the absence of the Residence Manager.

Supervise Residential Counselors, under the direction of the Residence Manager, and assist all staff in the daily routines, manage the residence when the Resident Manager is absent, be responsible for specific areas of the day to day operation of the residence.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Salary: Competitive with full benefits

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required; Prefered in Human Services or related field
  • Progressive experience working with OPWDD regulations and policies
  • Maintenance of necessary certifications as per OPWDD and Agency Regulations
  • Valid unrestricted NYS Driver’s License, to agency standard
  • Ability to travel and transport individual
